The company act4energy was founded in 2018 and it is a spin-off of the Democritus University of Thrace. Its main focus is the development and implementation of innovative technologies for environmental protection, waste management, and utilization of by-products. Act4energy provides Research and Development services for designing new clean/green technology products and specialized consultancy to maximize the efficiency of industrial recycling processes in anaerobic digestion facilities.
